I'm Sorry 04:31
I’m Sorry Verse 1 I’m sorry if this world it rumbles Incomprehensible and cold I’m sorry if you’re only mining The distraction from the gold Verse 2 I’m sorry if you’re only filling Pockets from the bottom up I’m sorry if ingrained are ideals Worthy not the test of time Chorus I’m sorry if you’ll never know it The imitation from the real I’m sorry if it’s left you empty What little else is there to feel? Verse 3 I’m sorry if I’ve known my comfort Sitting next to your despair I’m sorry if your arm it cradles Your head while wood it spears your hip Chorus I’m sorry if you’ve ever known it I’m sorry no one seems to care I’m sorry but we’re all distracted To shout complaints into the air I’m sorry if you’ve ever seen it, Hanging high above the roots So few of us will make it, Our heads forever in the noose Verse 4 Well among the people lie the cadre Who’d like to tell your fortune true That the lands your know are drowning For the dog that eats his own Verse 5 He keeps us simple, keeps us blinded While he sniffs around our door Waiting for the chance to profit From the weakest and the poor Chorus I’m sorry if you’ve seen it coming, It’s a weight so few can bare I’m sorry that we’re all distracted To shout complaints into the air I’m sorry if you’ve ever seen it, Hanging high above the roots So few of us will make it, Our heads forever in the noose

Verse 1: When fresh leaves and bistro crumbs Are all that litter your streets, some When a price is to resist, Not to afford or to persist towards Chorus: You’ll know that you made it, But you gotta know that you’re, no friend of mine Oh I know you’re elated, But you gotta look down it’s only a matter of time A matter of time A matter of… time Verse 2: If a lady is at the helm, You’ll be content as shit goes down If your own damn face is just A serving suggestion you must… Chorus: Oh know that you made it But you gotta know that you’re no friend of mine Oh I know you’re elated, But you gotta look down it’s only a matter of time a matter of time (X5)

To Rome 05:33
Verse 1 Word splash, colours all mismatched Boomed highest from walls, wrapped tightly around trains 5000 windows stretched out with old age Forms a slice of must see, steels pictures just for me Chorus Felt your shadow close, so close it touched my heels And I will hold my tongue, I won’t speak of olden days I won’t speak of olden days, aah aah ooh x2 Mmm Verse 2 Carvings curved, held high on teal thrones Heads of hope watching crowds grow, bring wishes my knee I knew you were waiting, for the heat of the night To strengthen my bones, when I was most alone Chorus Felt your shadow close, so close it touched my heels And I will hold my tongue, I won’t speak of olden days I won’t speak of olden days, who are you kidding now? Who are you kidding, trynna sell new land to your heart? Trynna sell new land to you heart I will hold my tongue, I will hold my tongue Won’t speak of olden days, won’t speak of olden days Felt your shadow close, so close it touched my heels And I will hold my tongue, I won’t speak of olden days I won’t speak of olden days aah aah ooh x2 Ah ah ah ah ah ah ha ha x4

Money 05:24
Verse 1 Giving strangers your finest hours Giving strangers your finest years Then handing over your children To the same beast that, broke you Verse 2 A world built on wasted lives Will always need to keep taking more Look for the shit that they’re not selling Because pride in one’s nation always has a price And we always seem to pay with our lives Chorus I hope they wake up from this dream some day With blood stains on their hands And there’s nothing but a breath left to take Maybe then they’ll understand, They’ll understand x3 That money can’t hold your x2 Money can’t hold your hand Verse 3 For the slight of privileged who swirl in distraction And for those who suffer in the now The ground keeps shifting beneath us While we try settling just to settle down Verse 4 I will not passively grow more bodies I will not wheel around their future wives Just passing time with inaction I won’t let apathy take my life I won’t lay down without a fight Chorus I hope they wake up from this dream some day With blood stains on their hands And there’s nothing but a breath left to take Maybe then they’ll understand, They’ll understand x3 That money can’t hold your x2 Money x5 Can’t hold your hand Break No, no money can’t money can’t (x3) Money can’t hold your, money money money can’t hold your (x6) Chorus I hope they wake up from this dream one day With blood stains on their hands And there’s nothing but a breath left to take Maybe then they’ll understand, They’ll understand x3 Outro That money can’t hold your Money can’t hold your, hand

The Root 05:07
Verse 1: Bail us out If it’s so easily done We’ve laid our claim now, don’t forget What has ever been, will not always be We’re over our heads Drowning in man’s interest The years we’ve sown those, children grown We’ve somehow outstayed our welcome in… Somehow outstayed our welcome in Outstayed our welcome in Chorus: Our own home oh oh oh oh Our own home oh oh oh oh Our own home aaaaah Verse 2: So daily protest But join the dots still we resist The call to rise in the, future lies for this, Thinking meat ah with a damn good taste You who protect State interest oh over citizens The power gained ah it’s all in vain, Not you, nor I, nor them can be guaranteed… Will be guaranteed, Can be guaranteed Chorus: Our own home oh oh oh oh Our own home oh oh oh oh Our own home aaaaah Verse 3: So please just give me a box To quietly eat my meals in Till my working day that don’t, match my pay Begins again tomorrow so I can keep, Tomorrow let me keep, Oh god can I just keep… Chorus My own home oh oh oh oh My own home oh oh oh oh My own home Muh muh muh my Oh God Outro: My Mu mu mu my x2 Mu mu mu my x2 Home Mu mu my own home Hmm x4

Suck, suckling life from the soil Demanding more from the day Leaving rooms empty While stepping over bodies in door ways And I will try to cut my teeth On your sheltered point of view But its leaving me empty and declawed A poor use of my time Oh, it’s just another point of view Another chance for you to turn away I know you’ve heard it all before But hear it once more before you turn away Just once more and we’ll try, Because we’re conflict bound We’re conflict bound. The branches we hack at in reform Leaves little in progress and will to fight worn Come gather around I’ve got some news Freedom begins when needs are cut loose Labouring force keeps the pressure on Systemic flaws and all that’s wrong Estrange the work, keep punching down What do we know? Well we’re conflict bound But oh, it’s just another point of view Another chance for you to turn away I know you’ve heard it all before But hear it once more before you turn away Just once more and we’ll try, Because we’re conflict bound We’re conflict bound. Bound We’re conflict bound But I know, you’ve hear it all before But hear it once more before you turn away Just once more and we’ll try, Because we’re conflict bound We’re conflict bound.

Verse 1: Gonna take it, Gonna take it From my bones yeah, from my bones yeah We’re all in heated agreement That nothing is permanently ours Verse 2: Gonna keep it, gonna keep it My name clean, my name clean While the law of profit Brings self-interest through the door Chorus: Left to worship in a new way To fill the time between the working day They assume to be our champions Yet when our time is over, They wait, with both hands, Taking what we have made What have we made? Verse 3: what do I know now, do I know now? That’s the question, is the question I gotta sharpen these tools While it gets sharply polarized Chorus: Left to worship in a new way To fill the time between the working day They assume to be our champions Yet when our time is over, They wait, with both hands, Taking what we have made What have we made? Have we? What have we made? Have we? What have we made? Bridge: Come gather around, My armoured saviours Which way should I run, To keep calm through the fire? They give us more time, To practice their aim Cause the sickness they caught, Is societies gain What have we made? Have we? What have we made? Have we made? Outro: What have we? That’s it

about

From every lyrical line, to every instrument recorded in several studios, it has all been handstitched together with care. I hope you enjoy it.

In the time we find ourselves, nothing is secure, and no one is safe. The small mercies won through large sacrifices, are trumped by the ever-growing gains of the 1%. Now is not the time for distraction, to be idle or to let apathy reign. Now is the time to educate, to react and to get angry.
There have been times of great change before us; kingdoms have crumbled, and empires expired. All that is will not always be. Everything that stirs us from our slumber does not exist in isolation, instead they reveal themselves as another detailed piece to be stitched into the bigger picture.
My point of view has evolved throughout the writing of this album, as it will continue to long after it. For as long as I can remember, my eye has solely been on my talents, capabilities, and achievements. Seeing the easily defined perimeter of each, brought a deep feeling of unease. As if only when they all exist in spades, creating an unruly clutter impossible to keep stock of, only then do I deserve a platform from which to express from. This has always existed juxtaposed to anything I have created in my life.
Yes, at this moment my opinions still feel almost juvenile to me. And no, the time in my life set aside for education, for betterment, for reading does not outweigh that spent binge watching bullshit. Yet as I get older the quickening pace of time becomes serious. There just isn’t enough of it to wait around until you’re 100% sure about anything, including yourself.
